DISC TWO

 

BLAST FURNACE

Go down the stairs and in the door.  Be aware of the gaurd a couple of feet away from you.  Run down the first walkway til you come to the end.  Pull out your Stinger or Nikita and, shoot at the crane until it falls in the lava.  Turn to the ledge that is north; The whole time that you walk across this ledge, hold in diagonally up and right and, never let go of the buttons.  If you do, Snake will fall into the lava and instantly die.  Once you get across, go straight, north, then east down the first set of stairs.  There are some items on that floor; to the west and south.  Go back to the stairs you first came down and go down the other set of stairs and into the door at the north.

CARGO ELEVATOR

You can grab items within the area.  Then get on the Cargo Elevator.  Go to the control panel and press the O button.  Throw a chaff grenade and wait for it to go off.  Go in the next Cargo Elevator and, go down it.  Watch out for claymines though.  When you get to the bottom, grab the items behind all four boxes.  Go in the door.

WAREHOUSE

Now you have to fight Vulcan Raven for the last time.

BOSS TIPS FOR VULCAN RAVEN IN WAREHOUSE

Most of the time, just use your Nikita to try to find and hurt him.  You'll have to defeat him quickly because, after a long while of staying in the warehouse your rations will freeze and you won't be able to use them.  You can also use claymines and C4.   Torwards the end of the battle if you have a lot of health left, you can use your Stinger.  You can also use grenades.  There is extra ammo and rations in the warehouse.  If Vulcan Raven is very close by, you can lure him by using C4.  Lay down a C4.  Then when he comes near it, set it off.  After you defeat him, you will see a movie clip and, he will give you a level seven keycard.  This is the last keycard in the game.  Go out the nearest door.

WAREHOUSE NORTH (OR NORTH OF THE WAREHOUSE)

Watch out for floors that drop underneath you.  Also watch out for the gun cameras.  Throw a chaff grenade.  Then, go around the area to collect items.   Then, go north in the door.

UNDERGROUND BASE 1

You have reached Rex's Underground Base.  Go to your right, then north.   Climb up the ladder.

UNDERGROUND BASE 2

Go around the area on that floor and, collect items.  Then climb up the next ladder.

UNDERGROUND BASE 3

Go north and turn right.  Keep going that way and you'll find items.  Now, go back and climb up the next ladder.  You're at the top of Rex.  Go straight across and, climb down the last ladder.  Run north, then west, then south. Watch out for the gaurds.  There are three of them.  You can use your socom pistol, if your silencer is on it.  Go south then east.  Go up the stairs.  You'll see a movie clip.  After Ocelot shoots your PAL card out of your hand, you'll have to go find it.  Go all the way down to the underground base 1.  Go down the stairs, east of the main entrance.  Go in the water and equip your mine detector.  After equiping it, look on the map for a dot.  Watch what you pick up though; you could pick up time bomb.  If you do, hold in your L2 button while pressing the O button.   If you have looked around for the card for quite some time plus, still did not find it, go up on the ledge where the stairs are and find a mouse hole.  In front of the mouse hole place a C4.  After a while, a mouse should come by and drop the card.   After you get the card, go back up to the room where Liquid and Ocelot were.   The door will be open and the won't be there.  Throw a chaff grenade and wait for it to go off. Go inside the room.

COMANDERS ROOM (UNDERGROUNGRBASE)

Place the PAL card in the laptop nearest the door.  Throw a chaff grenade and wait for it to go off, then leave.  Go to the Warehouse.  Equip your PAL card.   Wait here until it turns blue and is frozen.  It will probably take a full 5 minutes or so.  Go back to the comanders room now.  Throw a chaff grenade before entering the room.  Place the PAL card in the middle laptop.  Throw a chaff grenade.  Leave.  Go to the Blast Funace.  Go south, into the room with the small entrance.  Wait here until the PAL card turns red and is hot.  Go back to the commanders room in a hurry.  If you take too long to get there, the card will cool down.  Place the card in the last laptop.  Equip your gasmask and call Otacon on the codec.  When the door opens, go out the door, down the steps, and to your right all the way.

SUPPLYROUTE

Now you'll have to fight Metal Gear Rex.

BOSS TIPS FOR METAL GEAR REX

Equip your stinger immediately.  When Metal Gear Rex moves, shot him on the radar plate.  It is round and on his right shoulder.  Keep shooting there until you see a video clip.  Watch out for his missiles.  Also, you can take off your stinger and run under his feet.  Stay underneath him until he stops.  Then throw a chaff and equip your stinger.  Shoot the radar plate again.   You can use this technique for as long as you want.  There are rations and chaff grenades around the area.  After the video clip, you'll have to fight Liquid inside Rex.

BOSS TIPS FOR LIQUID REX

Shoot Liquid with your stinger.  You can use the last tips and techniques you used while battling Rex.  Now, after you see some movie clips, you'll have to fist fight Liquid.

BOSS TIPS FOR FIST FIGHTING LIQUID

Just use the O button to punch and kick him.  Watch out for his attacks.  Be quick and don't stop.  After his health is down all the way, get him torwards the edge and then nock him off.  Then you'll see a movie clip.   This is Where you'll find out if Meryl is dead or alive if you forgot.

ESCAPE ROUTE

Go up the stairs.  There are three rations within the area.   Equip your FAMAS and be ready for terrorist.  After the jeep is started up, jump in it.  Now, you can use the machine gun attached to the jeep.  Use the Square button to fire.  Fire at the barrels.  Fire at the barrels again, then the gaurds.  Fire at just the gaurds this time.  Now, you'll have to battle Liquid in the jeep.

BOSS TIPS FOR FINAL LIQUID BATTLE

You don't have to kill liquid.  You just have to stay alive long enough to exit the place.  You can use first person view mode while firing.   You can also use your rations.  You have unlimited ammo now.  So, keep on firing at Liquid and don't stop.  Watch out for his Bullets too.

As soon as you see a bright light, you have beaten the game already.
