     The graphics are unbelievably real.  The characters are more humanly reactive.  And this is just the beginning! Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty provides a better view for playing, new weapons, new hand combat moves, and will involve your top level playing skills.  This game will be released for Playstation 2 in the first of October this year.  The original MGS game was a tribute to Konami's programming and creative thinking.  Last year it was U.K.’s top selling game.  This gives the sequel an unbelievably huge head start on becoming a rave.  In fact, it became so obvious that Metal Gear 2 is/was the only reason that fans even bought a Playstation 2.  The current price for this game is $50(found on some websites), and the original price to the import was $80 believe it or not! What a heck of a rain/hale storm! Get ready Snake.

Note: The following synopsis is based on my research, from various sources and represents information that's presently available

     The game is taking place in New York City on a cargo ship.  The ending where Meryl died in MGS1, seems to be the case for this game.   Meryl is dead and Snake begins the game by infiltrating the ship with his sleath suit.  The main enemies in this game seem to be Revolver Ocelot and Colonel Sergei Gurlukovich (the potential customer for Metal Gear Rex who provided FOX-HOUND with the Hind-D gunship as a down payment).  Olga Gurlukovich, the colonel's pregnant daughter, seems to be Snakes current romantic interest.  Remember at the end of the first game, on the codec; where Revolver was talking to someone known as, "Mr. President"?  It was to secure the Metal Gear Rex test data.  Revolver sold the Rex data on the open market, leading to the spread of Metal Gear technology worldwide.   Now, he's part of the rogue Spetsnaz group.  Colonel, the officer leading the Spetsnaz unit that hijacks the tanker in an attempt to steal the Metal Gear Ray.

     Solidus is supposedly the third son of Big Boss just like Solid and Liquid were.  Otacon appears to be Snake's new leader.  The Triangle button on the controller now provides a number of moves.  Such as hopping over low barriers, undogging hatches, and diving over rails to hang from ledges.   There is another move; it lets you move hand-over-hand along rails and edges. A little "Grip" meter will pop up while Snake is hanging, though, and he'll fall when it runs out, so you have to hop back up in time or fall.  You can press X while running to perform a dive roll, usually used for dodging bullets.  Snake begins the game with a Beretta M92 pistol, which has been converted into a single-shot tranquilizer dart gun.  This about raps up all that I have discovered/read about MGS2.
